Crews battle fire at Phillips 66 refinery in Carson
CARSON, Calif. (FOX 11) - Firefighters worked to put out a large fire that broke out at a refinery Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke out at the Phillips 66 facility in the area of Sepulveda Boulevard and Alameda Street in the Carson area. It was first reported at about 4:55 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
County firefighters were sent to assist the facility's fire crews, officials said.
The fire was reported out shortly before 7:30 p.m with no injuries reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
