Disneyland raises prices up to 25% for tickets, annual passes and parking

ANAHEIM, Calif. - Ticket prices went up at Disneyland resort beginning on Sunday, with some costs for daily tickets, annual passes and parking increasing as much as 25 percent.

The hikes come lest than one year after ticket increases of up to 18 percent were established in February 2018. The park's new, 14-acre themed Star Wars area is set to open this summer.

In raising prices, the twin theme parks are continuing their experiment with "flex pricing," or charging different rates based on anticipated demand for each day.

A single-day ticket for Disneyland or California Adventure park goes from $97 to $104 for so-called low-demand days. Tickets for regular-demand days have risen from $117 to $129, and tickets on peak-demand days have gone from $135 to $149. increase.

The cheapest annual pass now costs $399, up from $369. This pass does not include weekends or most summer months.

The Deluxe Pass, which includes admission to both parks on select days, has gone from $729 to $799.

The most expensive pass, which includes parking, access to both parks and no block-out days, rose from $1,579 to $1,949, a 23.4 percent increase.

Daily parking has also gone up -- from $20 to $25.
