Father of street racing crash victim fights to stop Paul Walker fundraiser at College of the Canyons

SANTA CLARITA, CA (FOX 11) - The father of a young woman who was killed in a triple fatal fiery crash caused by two vehicles that were street racing is trying to derail a Paul Walker event at College of the Canyons on Sunday.

Willy Littlefield's 19-year-old daughter Michelle was one of three people killed in the crash on the 5 freeway in February 2016.

"She was my jewel, my one and only," Littlefield said.

The "In memory of Paul" car hangout is set to take place at COC on Sunday. Visitors can pay a fee to come see "Fast and Furious" vehicles. Organizers say all the money will be donated toward's Paul Walker's charity to help first responders, but Littlefield it believes it glorifies street racing.

'Fast and Furious' is all about streets racing and you can't separate Paul Walker or the cars, they're race cars that are gonna be there, you can't separate it," Littlefield said. "There will be crazy people there. I kind of put the college on notice that should there be a death with these crazy people there I'll be the first to say I told you so."

He's been in talks with the school to try to get them to stop the event, but a College of the Canyons spokesman tells FOX 11 the school is public and the parking lot is simply being rented out by an outside group.

Littlefield says, He doesnt have any animosity towards COC after all the school hosted his daughters vigil days after she died in the crash.

'Its time to stop glorifying the fast and furious lifestyle.'

The school says they respect his opinion and he will be out here protesting.
