First of multiple storms arrives Thursday in Southern California
LOS ANGELES (FOX 11) - The first in a series of storms arrived Thursday in Southern California, bringing rain, mudslides and road closures.
Forecasters said the peak of the storm would be from mid-morning into the evening hours.
Friday was expected to be partly cloudly with near-normal temperatures. A few light showers were possible near midnight, forecasters said.
After a brief break of the wet weather, a second storm was expected to arrive early Saturday bringing widespread rain and heavy mountain snow.
Lingering showers were possible through Monday night.
