Frost Advisory issued for areas of Southern California
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - It may not be the Polar Vortex but here in SoCal, the cold weather is still chilly. Beginning at midnight, a Frost Advisory will be in effect through Thursday at 9 a.m. for Thousand Oaks and the surrounding areas.
Temperatures will dip into the low mid-30s.
"I'm actually from Chicago originally and I'm not used to it actually. The only time it feels good is after I sweat in the gym," said Dorayn Madnick.
There will be isolated locations across the west San Fernando Valley including Woodland Hills to Westlake Village that could see low temperatures reach 32 degrees Thursday morning.
Experts advise residents to keep their pets indoors and cover sensitive plants as the frost can damage them and harm pets.
