Glass smashed, ATM stolen in cannabis dispensary robbery in Venice
VENICE, Calif. (FOX 11) - Police say several suspects used hammers to break the glass of a cannabis dispensary early Thursday in Venice and stole an ATM before taking off.
The robbery was reported around 3:15 a.m. at the MedMen dispensary, located at 410 Lincoln Boulevard. Los Angeles police said four to five suspects smashed the glass and stole the ATM and possibly other items from the store.
A security guard at the location found safety and called police during the burglary, authorities said.
The suspects left the store with the loaded ATM in an older model white van.
One suspect was located, described as an African American male, who ran in the opposite direction of the other suspects, police said.
Three to four additional suspects remained outstanding.
