Sinking home in South Pasadena prompts evacuations
SOUTH PASADENA, Calif. (FOX 11) - Crews and building inspectors are at a two-story house in the 1800 block of Hanscom Drive in South Pasadena where the ground beneath the home's driveway has sunk and ruptured a gas line.
Several residents in the area have been evacuated, the South Pasadena Police Department tweeted Tuesday night.
"If you haven't been asked to evacuate then you are not in the danger area," said the tweet.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area. The incident was reported just before 7:30 p.m.
