SoCal beach goers warned of dangerous surf, high heat

A large southerly swell from Hurricane Fabio will peak in height Friday evening, then slowly subside through this weekend.

High Surf is expected for Los Angeles and Ventura County beaches through Friday, highest on exposed south facing beaches.

Other beaches will see elevated surf during this period. Strong and very dangerous rip currents will occur at all area beaches during this time as well.
