Surveillance video of suspect in Downey liquor store homicide released
DOWNEY, Calif. (FOX 11) - The Downey Police Department released store surveillance video of a gunman responsible for the death of 44-year-old Gurpreet Singh.
Singh was the co-owner of the ASL Liquor Market located at Telegraph Road and Paramount Boulevard, and was behind the counter on May 7, 2019, when he was shot several times after an individual wearing blue jeans, dark-colored frame glasses, gloves, and a black jacket, entered the store with a gun.
Investigators say at this time, it appears this was an attempted robbery but detectives are not ruling out other possible motives.
