Suspect break dances before arrest following police chase in San Fernando Valley
SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, Calif. (FOX 11) - A pursuit in the San Fernando Valley came to an end on Tuesday night with the driver busting out a couple of moves before he was arrested by California Highway Patrol officers.
The pursuit began on the eastbound 101 Freeway west of Mureau Road in Sherman Oaks around 9:15 p.m. The driver of the white Ford Focus was wanted for reckless driving, according to CHP.
CHP officers were able to successfully perform a PIT maneuver on the suspect's vehicle, causing him to spin out and stop on Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Pacoima.
When officers had their guns drawn on the suspect, he began to slowly walk away from his vehicle with his hands up. The suspect then suddenly broke out into a short dance routine as CHP officers stayed patient, letting him enjoy his last moments of freedom, before taking him into custody.
The name of the driver has not been released at this time. Charges against him are pending.
