Protesters, supporters greet Trump during LA visit as road closures snarls traffic

President Donald Trump made his fourth visit to Los Angeles since taking office. He was in town for a fundraiser and an update on preparations for the 2028 Summer Olympics. His presence stirred quite the buzz around Beverly Hills.

Circling the perimeter of the Montage Beverly Hills Hotel, protestors and supporters spoke their minds. Students from nearby Beverly Hills High walked to the hotel after school, knowing Trump was there.

“We’re the future of the country so I want to gain perspective of both sides to see where I’m going to lean going towards,” said high school student Lee Wartz.

“He’s not a good President at all. All the things he’s doing are really wrong,” said his schoolmate Dylan Tiz.

“He’s trying to make the world a better place, the country a better place,” argued his peer, Gary Winthorpe.

President Trump flew into LAX, helicoptered to Santa Monica and then motorcaded to the Montage to meet with organizers of the 2028 Olympics Games. He then went to a fundraising dinner and roundtable discussion, also in Beverly Hills.

Wednesday, the President will be in Rancho Mirage for a golf fundraiser and then Phoenix for a rally.
