Family wants life long Dodger fan to see a World Series game
LANCASTER, CA (FOX 11) - Miguel Chaidez has been a life long Dodger fan.
"I'd go every week on my day off. If Los Angeles play, I go," says the 78 year old.
But Chaidez is battling cancer for the second time. He doesn't make it to many games anymore. He has never seen his boys in blue play a World Series.
"My son decided that because everything my dad has gone through, healthwise, he wanted him to see a World Series game," says his daughter, Teri Rios.

Teri's son Mark set up a GoFundMe page to raise enough cash to send grandpa to the game and enjoy a couple Dodger Dogs.
"Everybody [in our family] bleeds Dodger blue," says Teri. She says her dad gets strength just watching his favorite team play and hopes he gets the chance to see them play their first World Series since 1988 in person.
