On Friday, the company gave a free performance to kids who may not get the opportunity to be exposed to the world of dance or ballet.
San Pedro City Ballet is home to American Ballet Theater’s principal dancer, Misty Copeland.
The company is led by Cindy Bradley, who discovered and nurtured Copeland on her journey to one of the leading classical ballet companies in the nation.
Bradley aims to make dance accessible to all and has expanded the program to the Watts area.
