1 killed, 4 injured in Buena Park crash
One person is dead and four other people injured following a two-vehicle crash near Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park.
BUENA PARK, Calif. - One person is dead and four other people injured when a police pursuit ended in a two-vehicle crash near Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park.
It happened around 11:42 p.m. Monday at the corner of La Palma and Knott avenues, according to authorities.
Officers had attempted to pull over a driver in a stolen 2015 Mercedes, but he took off and a chase ensued. The stolen car slammed into another Mercedes, police said.

The driver in the suspected stolen car - identified as a 24-year-old man - died at the scene. Another person in the car was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries, police said.
Two adults in the other Mercedes were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries while three children in the car were taken home by relatives, police said.
A man who was standing near the intersection was also hurt in the collision and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
