10 people injured in multi-vehicle crash in Florence area of South L.A.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - At least 10 people were injured Thursday night in a vehicle collision at the intersection of Florence Avenue and Holmes Avenue in the Florence area of South Los Angeles.

Three cars were involved in the crash. The force of the impact sent one vehicle into a nearby pole.

One person is in critical condition, two others are in serious condition, and others suffered minor injuries, according to officials.

Florence Avenue will be closed during the investigation about one block in each direction.

No further details were immediately known. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
