HESPERIA, Calif. - A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot Monday night in Hesperia, authorities said.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of shots heard in the 16200 block of Sultana Street around 7:30 p.m. They discovered several expended cartridge casings in the area.
Roughly ten minutes later, authorities learned that a shooting victim had been dropped off at a local hospital. He died a short time later.
The victim was later identified as 17-year-old David Becerra.
No suspect description was available.
