Teen killed in shooting at Signal Hill party
Six others ranging in age from 16 to 19 were also shot, police said.
SIGNAL HILL, Calif. - A shooting at a party in Signal Hill claimed the life of a 17-year-old girl and left 6 others wounded, according to police.
It happened Saturday, Dec. 28 around 10:15 p.m. at a home in the 1000 block of Burnett Street.
Responding officers located three girls and four boys at the location suffering from gunshot wounds. A 17-year-old girl died at the hospital, while the 6 other victims ranging in age from 17 to 19, were treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
