2 arrested after brutal attack at Halloween Party in Simi Valley leaves victim in critical condition
SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - Police have arrested two men involved in a vicious attack during a Halloween party in Simi Valley.
Detectives arrested 20-year-old Dy’Laan Lee and 21-year-old Darien Wade for Battery Causing Serious Bodily Injury. Lee and Wade are both Simi Valley residents.
The Simi Valley Police Department says the victim, identified as 21-year-old Khaelen Julian, attended a party on Oct. 31 at a home in the William Court area in Simi Valley, and during that party, got into an argument with several individuals in front of the home.
The victim was then tackled to the ground, kicked, and punched repeatedly by multiple suspects until he became unconscious, police said.
The suspects took off after the brutal attack. The victim was taken to the hospital by some of his acquaintances, police said, and is currently in critical condition.
Police are looking for other individuals involved in the assault. Authorities are asking anyone who may have information regarding this case to call Simi Valley Police Detective Brian Young at 805-583-6248.
