BUENA PARK, Calif. - A toddler if sbIf you got an Amber Alert on your phones Tuesday about a two-year-old that was abducted out of Buena Park, the good news is that the boy was found and reunited with his family, but the investigation is still ongoing.
This all started around 9:30 a.m. when the mother of the boy went into a school for a quick stop. She left her son in her Toyota minivan which police say was stolen with the little boy inside.
For the record, we know the boy's name and have his photo, but the family has asked us not to use either, so we have decided to abide by their wishes. After all, he is no longer the subject of a search.

It's not yet clear if one or two perpetrators took the minivan with the two-year-old inside. That's still under investigation. But, whatever the case the van and boy were taken to an unincorporated area of Anaheim where they driver parked on a cul-de-sac, left the sliding door open and took off in another vehicle.
A neighbor saw the boy, took him inside their home, and called the police. A short time later police were alerted that someone tried to use one of the stolen credit cards from the woman's purse that was left in the van. They arrested that suspect. The case remains under investigation, but the father told us the boy and his mother are okay after what was a trying ordeal.
