3 people hurt, dog killed in crash in Duarte

DUARTE, Calif. - Three people were injured, one critically, after two cars collided in Duarte late Tuesday. 

One car went into a building.

It happened on Huntington Drive near Las Lomas Road a little after 9 p.m.

A person in the car that crashed into the building was trapped and had to be freed by firefighters. 

A dog in one of those cars was also killed.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
