WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - An investigation was underway after four people were shot in West Hollywood Friday morning, sheriff’s officials said.
The shooting was reported around 4:15 a.m. near Fountain and Olive avenues, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. A resident told FOX 11's Gigi Graciette he heard between 10 to 15 gunshots.
Officials who first arrived at the scene discovered three men suffering from gunshot wounds and they were rushed to a local hospital.
Shortly after, deputies received a second round of calls and noticed a blood trail.
A man who lives at a condo along Kings Road said he saw a man bleeding in the complex's pool area. Officials later determined he had been shot in the leg during the incident and was taken to an area hospital.
Their conditions are currently unknown. LASD officials noted that the wounded are not cooperating with investigators and are staying silent about what occurred.
Officials later confirmed three of the wounded do not live and Los Angeles and are from the East Coast. It was unclear who among the wounded was a victim or a suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
