BALTIMORE (KTTV) - An active shooter situation at an HBCU campus in Maryland ended with at least four people being shot Tuesday night.
The Baltimore Police Department responded to a call in the 1700 block of Argonne Drive, which is on the campus of Morgan State University. Baltimore PD said on social media officers are at the scene, but did not say if people were hurt or deaths were reported. FOX 45 News in Baltimore later reported that the shooting left at least four people hurt.
It is unknown if the four people shot on campus were students.
As of 7 p.m. PT, no arrests have been announced in the police activity. The public was asked to shelter in place for hours before police eventually allowed people to go in and out of the university campus.
Officials did not specify the severity of the shooting victims' injuries. The suspected gunman's identity has not been released Tuesday night.
