Alleged LA arsonist arrested over Eagle Rock gym fire
LOS ANGELES - Police arrested an alleged arsonist who was named a person of interest in a fire that broke out near a gym in Eagle Rock.
On December 15, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a trash fire outside the Lako Boxing Club in the 4400 block of Eagle Rock Boulevard a little before 5 a.m. In a recent FOX 11 report, surveillance images showed a woman deliberately setting fire outside of the building before taking off.
Fast-forward to December 19, LAPD announced 48-year-old Marvella Salomon has since been arrested in connection to the Eagle Rock fire. LAPD said officers recognized Salomon from a previous wanted flyer.
Salomon is being charged with arson of structure and arson of personal property. She is being held on $125,000 bail.
