While Bernie Sanders is strongly backing Hillary Clinton, some of his backers still can't let go.
Many Sanders supporters have been vocal about not supporting Clinton.
An image of Susan Sarandon looking miserable went viral and some delegates rejected pleas to support Hillary Clinton.
Cenk Uygur is the founder of the Young Turks, a progressive YouTube channel.
He's also a major backer of Sanders, introducing him at a rally in Irvine back in May.
Uygur says Clinton could do more to win over Sanders supporters.
"She could say, you guys are right, I'm not going to take all that corporate money. I'm going to switch over to the Bernie Sanders model and raise from you guys 27 dollars at a time. If she did that, #1, she'd win over almost all of Bernie Sanders supporters and #2, she'd easily win the election," said Uygur.
He says it's a move Clinton won't likely make.
But Uygur says party unity is overrated
"On election day, you need as many people to vote for you as possible. But in terms of how many cheerleaders do we have right now, everyone grab a pom pom, and if you don't have enough pom poms all the same colors, omigod we're going to lose, said Uygur.
