Overturned big rig snarls traffic on 210 Freeway
Westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway in Claremont were closed at Towne Avenue after a big rig crashed and overturned.
CLAREMONT, Calif. - A big rig crashed and overturned on the 210 Freeway in Claremont and temporarily blocked all westbound lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 4:20 a.m. Monday at Towne Avenue and that's where the lanes are blocked, the CHP reported.
The crash spawned a huge backup for miles on the 210 Freeway, the CHP said.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 4:21 a.m.
There were no reports of injuries.
The closure was expected to last through 8:30 a.m., the CHP reported.
