LAPD looking for hit-and-run driver that killed pedestrian in Canoga Park

Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department have released surveillance video of a fatal hit-and-run in Canoga Park, hoping the public can identify the driver involved. 

The crash happened December 06, around 5:15 p.m. on De Soto Avenue, just north of Gresham Street. 

Police say a man in his 40's was crossing De Soto Ave. when a gray or silver vehicle struck him.

The driver kept going, and failed to stop.

The pedestrian died at the scene. His name has not been released by police.

Detectives are urging the public to come forward with any information regarding the fatal hit-and-run.
