A woman was killed after her car crashed into a commercial building in Compton. Rescue crews cut her out of the car, but she was already dead.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. - A woman is dead after she was involved in a horrific crash in Compton Monday afternoon.

SkyFOX was over the scene in the 500 block of West Victoria Street where the pickup truck smashed into a building.

The cause of the single-vehicle wreck remains under investigation, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Officials have not released the identity of the woman killed in the crash.
