Chihuahua 'arrested' after he boards school bus
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A chihuahua was 'arrested' by the Austin ISD Police Department after he boarded a school bus. He was taken to a local animal shelter and if he is not claimed, he will be put up for adoption, according to AISD.
According to Austin ISD, police officers were dispatched to downtown Austin after a small dog boarded a school bus near the 3100 block of East 4th Street. AISD Police took the small canine to the Austin Animal Center. If he is not claimed, the chihuahua will be put up for adoption.
The chihuahua's adventures were originally shared on Twitter by AISD Police Chief Ashley Gonzalez. "Apparently the word is out about @AustinISD education and excellent transportation."
