Chipotle is giving fans the opportunity to win free food by testing their knowledge of the brand.

The fast-casual chain on Monday announced the return of its Chipotle IQ, a trivia game that tests people's Chipotle knowledge of things like its ingredients, food standards, culinary techniques, brand history and more.

Chipotle Rewards members who pass the quiz have the opportunity to win a buy-one-get-one offer and more.

How to play Chipotle IQ game and win free food

Between Aug. 20 at 9:01 a.m. ET and Aug. 22 at 11:59 p.m. ET, Chipotle said it will offer 5,000 BOGO codes per hour to the first Chipotle Rewards members who score 10 out of 10 on the trivia game.

The Chipotle IQ game features multiple choice, true or false questions, and write-in answers.

Fans can play Chipotle IQ once per day, the company said.

Those who win a BOGO code can get a free regular menu entrée item with the purchase of one entrée item at a regular price when ordered in-restaurant or via the Chipotle mobile app or order.chipotle.com.

"‘Regular menu entrée item’" means a burrito, burrito bowl, single order of three tacos, quesadilla (only available via the Chipotle App or on Chipotle.com), or a salad, subject to availability," Chipotle said. "A regular menu entrée item does not include kids' meals, 3-point meals, or single tacos."
