Church of Scientology launches a TV network
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (FOX 11) - The Church of Scientology is launching a television network on Monday at 5 p.m.
The controversial church is starting a television network on Direct TV that replaces a channel of paid infomercials.
The programming will also be available for viewing on Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, iTunes, Google Play and the website Scientology.tv.
The launch comes at a time when the Church has been the center of several projects attempting to discredit it, including the documentary 'Going Clear' and the A&E series 'Scientology and the Aftermath' hosted by former member, Leah Remini.
Some media outlets report the programming may include: Meet a Scientologist, Voices of Humanity and L. Ron Hubbard in His Own Voice.
