Movie theater chain celebrating National Popcorn Day with 'Bring Your Own Bucket' promo
LOS ANGELES - What's better than movie theater popcorn? How about discounted movie theater popcorn!
Movie theater chain Cinemark is celebrating National Popcorn Day on Sunday, Jan. 19, with a special promotion for moviegoers.
On "Bring Your Own Bucket" day, you can score $5 popcorn by bringing your own container to your local theater.
You don't need a movie ticket to get the deal.
"Literally anything can be a bucket! Get creative and bring in any container, tote, or bag," Cinemark said.
The container is limited to 400 ounces.
If you don't bring your own container, you can still get in on the fun with $5 XL popcorn at all Cinemark locations on National Popcorn Day.

The deals don't stop there.
On Jan. 19 only, all who follow Cinemark’s official Instagram account (@Cinemark) and tag three friends in the comments of the National Popcorn Day sweepstakes post will be entered to win a free large popcorn. The exhibitor will also be buttering up movie lovers with 10% off all online gift card orders.
