Wednesday morning, L.A. City Council unanimously voted to crack down on some of the entertainers who pose for pictures in exchange for cash or sell items on Hollywood Boulevard.
They want to give 20 passes a day on a first come first serve bases to performers between Highland and Orange.

"For many of us who live here and see how visitors and tourists are treated, particularly tourists, it's an embarrassment to our city that we haven't found a way to regulate the behavior that's intimidating and predatory," said Morrison.
One example of the bad behavior can be seen in a video posted a few years ago of Chewbacca breaking up a fight between Mr. Incredible and Batgirl.
The unofficial ambassador of Hollywood, Gregg Donovan says in addition to safety issues, he's also seen a lot of scams, and hopes the city takes action so those come to an end.
Some performers we spoke to Wednesday said they were nervous they could be losing their jobs soon.
"They have to understand there are some good people out here too, so they can't infringe on those people...It would affect me tremendously, I'm not going to lie," said Omar Budhoo, a performer dressed up as a zombie.
With today's Council vote, city lawyers will draft up a proposal which will take a few months. After they do, the public will have a chance to weigh in on that proposal before City Council takes a vote.
