City of Alhambra offers coronavirus testing to residents displaying symptoms
ALHAMBRA, Calif. - Starting Monday, the city of Alhambra will offer a walk-up and drive-up coronavirus testing site to residents who are showing symptoms.
The primary symptoms of the virus include fever, cough, difficulty breathing, and loss of taste and small.
Testing is free and eligible Alhambra residents will be administered a nasal swab test.
The testing site is located at 110 S. Second Street, between City Hall and Alhambra High School. The center will be open on weekdays until May 29.

According to the city’s website, appointments can be made on the same day for those aged 65 and over or for those who have underlying health conditions. “All other individuals who meet the broader eligibility criteria may schedule appointments two days in advance.”

Those who aren’t displaying symptoms are encouraged to make an appointment through the city of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County’s joint COVID-19 website.
Last week, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced coronavirus testing was expanded throughout the city and said testing is now available to all residents—whether they are showing symptoms or not.
