Closure of beaches proves challenging

For a place known for its sun, surf, and sand, we're talking about Southern California, of course, A lot of people are still having a difficult time dealing with the beaches being closed.

A ticket for surfing? You bet!

At least in Malibu, where even parking on PCH can get you towed. LA County beaches are abiding by the county’s health department request, closing beaches, and hiking trails.

In Orange County, at least in Huntington Beach, things are slightly more relaxed. A small number of surfers were enjoying the waves, keeping far away from one another.

Some were walking on the bike path, others sitting near the pier, most-pretty mindful of their distance. No one wants to ruin it for everyone else.
