Crews battling brush fire in Irwindale near 210 Fwy

(FOX 11/CNS) - Los Angeles County fire crews are responding to a 25 acre brush fire burning in the 15500 block of East Arrow Highway in the Irwindale area with 50 percent containment.

No structures are immediately threatened.

At least three water-dropping helicopters are on the scene.

Fire crews are asking that the Metro Gold Line stop operating in the area. The Foothill (210) Freeway
remains open, although police are urging motorists to avoid the area due to smoke.
