Fires ravage Riverside County
The Rabbit Fire, Reche Fire, Gavilan Fire and Highland Fire are combined burning more than 8,000 acres in Riverside County
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. - Fire crews in Moreno Valley have fully contained another of the four large wildfires that sparked last week as a prevailing heat wave continues to bake Southern California.
The Riverside County Fire Department and Cal Fire responded to a call in the 9400 block of Reche Canyon Road around 1 p.m. Friday, July 14. In total, three fires broke out in Riverside County that afternoon.
The fire burned for exactly one week, scorching 437 acres in the process. But on Friday, July 21, Cal Fire that the Reche Fire had been fully contained.

Home destroyed in Moreno Valley Reche Fire
FOX 11 received video of a house completely destroyed in the Moreno Valley Reche Fire.

All evacuations have since been lifted, according to Cal Fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
