Dance. Dance. Dance. Three dancers share their story of life on stage. Each has their own technique, style, and stardom. Each has starred alongside big names like Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, and rapper Pusha T.
Myles Yachts is urban ballet on toes in tennis shoes. Slick (Nicholas "Slick" Stewart) is known as the "bonebreaker." Terry Beeman is an aerial artist. We caught up with these dancers as freestyle artists are front and center on stage and in music videos.
Myles Yachts is making a name with his fancy footwork. "It's called Jookin, Memphis Jookin." You can see Myles in music videos like Kygo's "Stole The Show." He's the dancing astronaut. In an upcoming animated movie he's the dance moves behind Alvin of Alvin and the Chipmunks. He rivals the works of Michael Jackson in "Love Never Felt So Good" with Justin Timberlake.
Slick "bonebreaker" looks as if his bones are popping right out of their sockets! He admits it can look interestingly gruesome. Slick started "bone breaking" back in Brooklyn street battles. Now he can be seen in the Step Up movies
Slick isn't the kind of dancer who you would call back-up. (@slickbonebreaker) He is a freestyle highlight. He had a starring role in the "Lunch Money" Pusha T music video.
Terry Beeman is a dancer turned choreographer. He shines in his own Los Angeles show called Mental Head Circus. Beeman says dancing keeps him young. Beeman has performed on the World Tours for Whitney Houston, Paula Abdul, and Mariah Carey
Beeman says due to social networking dancers can be known by name. He says the Brittney Spears dancers have their very own fame.
