LOS ANGELES - With the coronavirus, a last chance to contribute to online efforts to fundraise for youth from foster care. It's called the Foster Challenge emergency fund and it's backed by celebrity donations of their time and talents.
With a midnight deadline, Tuesday night donors are asked to step up. You're asked to donate under a celebrity name.
A drawing will be held Wednesday at noon in which the winners will get an experience, like a day in the music studio with Serayah from the FOX show Empire.
Serayah McNeill has stepped up to fundraise for foster care.
She was never in foster care but can relate to many of the issues facing former foster youth given struggles with her own mother and childhood.
The online event benefits a series of foster care agencies in Southern California. Among the beneficiaries is the Mixed Roots Foundation, First Star, Echoes of Hope.
Other celebs include actress Tiffany Haddish who offered up a one-hour zoom dinner party.

There are musicians and athletes too. Haddish was scheduled to be the honoree for the spring benefit for the Mixed Roots Foundation.
The coronavirus put a halt to the benefit all fundraising went online.
