Fight breaks out in The Citadel Outlets parking lot

A nasty fight broke out in The Citadel Outlets parking lot during the busy holiday shopping season.

Holiday violence hits the Citadel Outlets.

A full-blown brawl breaks out between a group of women outside of the shopping mall over an alleged parking dispute.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call of the fight on Wednesday as at least five people were involved in the fight. Cell phone video showed punches being thrown and insults being hurled.

According to a mom and her teen daughter at the scene, the fight stemmed from a Lexus SUV idling with the door open, blocking an open spot during the peak of holiday shopping season.

The mom waited and honked her car at the Lexus driver.

When her daughter got out of the car, the group of women threw a drink at her and jumped her, five against one, according to the mom.

To make matters worse, the group took the mom’s purse, which apparently had $3,000 in cash and her I.D., and took off from the Citadel. The money was meant for the family’s rent and holiday shopping.

As of Friday, December 20, no arrests have been made in the fight-turned-alleged robbery.

The woman taking a video of the incident told FOX 11’s Laura Diaz via text in Spanish that she was targeted with racial expletives from people at the scene for recording the fight.
