Fire in Walnut home leaves two people dead, three firefighters hurt

WALNUT, Calif. - A fire at a home in Walnut left two people dead and three firefighters with minor injuries.

The fire was reported about 10 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North Rocking Horse Road.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and found two people dead, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which also reported that three firefighters were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
