A fire at a home in Walnut left two people dead and three firefighters with minor injuries.

The fire was reported about 10 a.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North Rocking Horse Road.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and found two people dead, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, which also reported that three firefighters were treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Information on the identities of the fatally injured people was not immediately available, nor was there any word on what sparked the blaze.
