Fontana man killed in Long Beach shooting
LONG BEACH, Calif. - A homicide investigation is underway in Long Beach after a Fontana man was shot and killed over the weekend.
It happened Sunday around 2:34 p.m. in the area of 14th Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
According to police, the victim, identified as 33-year-old Thomas Ferguson, was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

An investigation revealed Ferguson was at the 14th Street Park when he was shot. The suspect ran away from the scene before police arrived, authorities said.
The motive remains under investigation.
