FOX 11 Grad Standout: Teen graduating on time despite major challenges
VICTORVILLE, Calif. - Alex Roman is graduating from Victor Valley High School in Victorville despite having to miss a lot of time in the classroom because of seizures caused by extreme anxiety.
News of the pandemic so close to graduation came as a major disappointment, but nothing shook Roman more than the loss of her grandfather just days after this school year started.

Roman has spent the last four years pushing herself no matter what the obstacles. She spent three years in the Cadet Corps until the school had to cut the program. Roman managed to get great grades and even excelled in her Regional Occupational Program classes in medical assisting and pharmacy tech.
Now things appear to be looking up as Roman excited to be heading to Victor Community College to pursue a career in the medical field!
