FOX 11 Job Finder: Westin Anaheim Resort looking to fill 400 positions
ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Westin Anaheim Resort is set to open in October and is looking to hire an estimated 400 employees.
The brand new luxury resort is currently recruiting to fill various positions.
The property will feature 618 rooms and 121 sites, according to Sivilay Henry, the Director of Marketing for Wincome Hospitality.
It’s a big property she says, and before guests can check-in, they'll check-out new employees.
"Food and beverage, culinary, stewarding, engineering and that's the jobs that we are specifically looking for,” Henry said.
In terms of salary, she said it varies by position.
“The package that is provided will also vary by the experience you bring in,” she added.
Anyone interested is encouraged to apply at the property during Tuesday's job fair.
The job fair will be held at 1700 South Harbor Boulevard from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Henry said they will have paperwork for applicants to fill out.
The company also offers entry-level opportunities. Overall, the company is looking for candidates who rate 5 stars in customer service.
"We will of course be practicing social distancing, temperature checks and face masks," Henry said.
If you can't make it to Tuesday's job fair, the Westin Anaheim Resort is hosting two others later this month.
