FOX 11 speaks with Latvia's president Edgars Rinkevics

LOS ANGELES - This week, the NATO summit takes center stage in Eastern Europe. 

The focus will largely be on Ukraine as world leaders say the security of more than one billion people depends, in part, on the response to Russia's war. 

FOX 11's Christina Pascucci spoke to the president of Latvia, who says as the leader of a country that was under Soviet rule, he understands what's at stake.
