From hot Cheeto corn dogs to bacon wrapped pork belly, all the food and fun happening at the L.A. County Fair

The 92nd Los Angeles County Fair kicked off Friday at the Fairplex in Pomona.

This year’s theme will focus on pop culture with a spotlight on Los Angeles' influence. The “LA County Fair Goes Pop!'' theme will be incorporated into every exhibit.

Attractions include giant iconic Los Angeles art installations, a disco and toys from the past, including a giant Etch-A-Sketch and life-sized
Monopoly game. There will also be displays about frozen dinners, Elvis Presley, space flight, Andy Warhol and electric cars.

There’s a new attraction known as “Fusion Fest,'' which is a music festival featuring the diversity of Los Angeles County. Organizers say it will begin with “Pop Fusion'' performances by pop music tribute bands.

The other Fusion Fests will be “Battle of the Bandas'' Sept. 7-8; Lucha Libre wrestling Sept. 14-15; and “Minor League Music'' on Sept. 21-22 which will feature local bands.

Other artists scheduled to perform are Pitbull (Sunday); George Lopez (Monday); War with Tierra and Malo (Sept. 6); Kelsea Ballerini & Hunter Hayes (Sept. 7); Juanes (Sept. 8); 38 Special, the Marshall Tucker Band and Outlaws (Sept. 13); "Hammer's House Party'' with MC Hammer, En Vogue, Biz Markie and Coolio (Sept. 14); Ramon Ayala (Sept. 15); Charlie Wilson and Montell Jordan (Sept. 20); Old Dominion (Sept. 21); and Chicago (Sept. 22).

Fun at the fair wouldn’t be complete without unique and out-of-this-world food items, and this year Flamin Hot Cheetos are the craze. A few items include hot Cheetos stuffed into a giant pickle, hot Cheetos on top of corn dogs and roasted corn, hot Cheetos sprinkled onto a giant turkey leg and bacon wrapped pork belly.

And for those with a sweet tooth visitors can enjoy a deep-fried peanut butter and jelly pastry, an orange creamsicle topped with cotton candy, deep fried cookie dough and so much more.

The fair runs till September 22nd. For ticket information click here
