Most students who attend school within the Los Angeles Unified School District will start the school year online from home, but FOX 11 spoke to one woman who converted a pool house and turned it into a makeshift schoolhouse.
Robin Koening and three other families pooled their resources to create a learning pod and even hired a teacher.
Wendy Daniel will facilitate online learning and parents who work full-time say it's a huge help and provides some structure for students.
Guided by Daniel, they watch scheduled online classes in the morning. She helps with homework and even gives them afternoon activities.
