LOS ANGELES - Cypress High School senior Victoria Santana is a beauty queen with a badge and a 4.0 GPA!
Victoria, who is also a cheerleader and dancer who loves her school in the Anaheim Union High School District.
“Throughout my high school career, I’ve always been one to do as much as I can and make the biggest impact on my school.”
It should come as no surprise Santana also loves her community, which is why she says she’s so proud of her participation in the Cypress Police Explorers program where she reached the rank of sergeant.
Santana’s life hasn’t been without challenges.
She lost her father when she was in the sixth grade and persevered during some difficult family issues.
While she admits she’s a little disappointed, she isn’t allowing the COVID-19 pandemic to put a damper on what she’s been able to accomplish.
“I think that it’s really sad that we can’t walk like normal and have a graduation, but I think coming from myself and a lot of 2020 graduates, we really do appreciate all of the efforts to congratulate the class of 2020 and show us there are people out there who really care.”
Her message to her fellow graduating seniors?
“I hope all you guys stay strong! This will pass, and we’ll all be able to see each other again really soon.”
