Grad Standout: Inglewood senior to combine his passions, talents at Cal State Dominguez Hills
INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Christopher Jenkins, a senior at Inglewood's College Bridge Academy is combining his passion for art, gaming, and entrepreneurship in the fall at Cal State Dominguez Hill.
“The thing that I am most passionate about is my art. I’ve loved art very much since I was little. Last summer, I was presented the opportunity to participate in a business camp for the youth with the Los Angeles Urban League," he said.
He plans to study animation.
Jenkins says he was able to participate in many activities and projects that could one day help him launch his own successful business.
Jenkins also has a grateful heart and wanted to acknowledge all the people who helped him along the way.
“I want to thank everyone in my life who has played a role in helping me become who I am today," he said.
That includes his mother, Victoria, who also attended Cal State Dominguez Hills.
When he’s not ushering at church or working out, Jenkins loves spending time with family.
His message for graduating seniors?
“Congratulations class of 2020! Keep striving to your best to succeed, and keep striving to do your best in your future!”
