Heroes Among Us: Orange County woman starts small movement with large impact

An Orange County woman started a small movement that’s making a big difference during the ongoing pandemic.

Irvine resident, Caitlyn Taylor, wanted to feed frontline workers while also supporting local restaurants in her community.

She was inspired by her husband who is the Emergency Department Director at Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center. She was able to rally neighbors, colleagues and friends on social media to donate to her cause.

Each week, she’s able to feed the ER’s entire team of over 65 doctors and nurses while also supporting local eateries.
