Crews work to contain Hollywood Hills water main break

Business owners and residents were left scrambling after a water main erupted in Hollywood Hills.

A large water main break in Hollywood Hills left crews scrambling to slow down the spillage.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a call of a water main break in the 3300 block of Cahuenga Boulevard Monday afternoon.

SkyFOX was over Hollywood Hills where streets and sidewalks were flooded in brown-ish water. The spillage impacted about 40 customers in the area, city officials tell FOX 11.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power estimates water services to return for neighbors early Tuesday morning.

Crews continue to work to contain the water main and the streets are expected to fully reopen by Tuesday afternoon.
